National Army Museum (NAM)

National Army Museum is a Executive NDPB sponsored by Ministry of Defence. The National Army Museum (NAM) is a Body incorporated by Royal Charter (1960) and is the British Army’s own Museum. It is the only museum in the United Kingdom to tell the Story of the Army from the Civil War period to today’s military operations. It showcases the heritage, values and contributions of soldiers, who have served in the Army. By using examples from the past, the NAM inspires the present generation of soldiers to understand that they are the inheritors of a rich tradition of bravery, service and professionalism.

Regional Remit

NAM operates in the UK. Their headquarters are located in London.
